If you read my earlier post about the incident I had on No. 238, I wish I can say that the incident should have been drawn to a close. However, I was not very happy at the way the way the transport company handled the response. Maybe some may label me as one of those people who can't seem to forgive and forget easily or looking for trouble but I assure you; I don't think so if you read their response.
The reason why I was so upset in the first place was the way how it was handled in public. Some may say, "Oh it's about face.", and I am not afraid to admit it. But let's think about it? Why do wars and so misunderstandings start off in the first place? It's always because of miscommunication and the way how the issue was handled prior to that. If people has used the proper tone, expression and such instead of arguing and shouting; my idealistic mind believes that more issues can be solved easily! I am so not pleased with the way the company handled the response!

Iphone/ Ipods/ Itouch/ Iwhatever - Greatest excuse to Playing Dumb in the MRT
Hi! This post has moved to here! Please update your bookmarks. Thank you!
If you are ever pregnant, did you ever observed how people react whenever you take the train or the bus? You know the feeling. The twitches, the sudden uncomfortable body language, the sudden acting classes they have been taking and being put in to use at appropriate timings? Did you notice their body language, their gaze and such? Do you notice and observe if people are willing to give up their seats for you? Or do they just wait and see if anyone else makes the first move?

Should You Give Up Your Priority Seat?
Hi! This post has moved to here! Please update your bookmarks. Thank you!
If you have read this letter entitled "A rude form of kindness", (http://www.todayonline.com/Voices/EDC101123-0000035/A-rude-form-of-kindness), what will your reaction be? Will you be shocked? Will you just dismiss it away with a nonchalant wave of hand? Or will you mumble under your breadth as "these pregnant women think everyone owes them just because they are pregnant..." I can tell you what happened that day. I saw everything. In fact, I experienced it personally.
What Happened That Day
It was really a normal day as I headed towards Tao Payoh Sports Stadium to attend a carnival. I wasn't dressed in anything fanciful. Just a dri-fit t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I took the bus 238 from Tao Payoh Interchange that day. There were not many people... all seats were taken up with only 3 people standing. One of them were carrying a baby. As a 7-8 months pregnant woman, I had thought I should be able to sit at the priority seat as I am pretty sure - the sign stated so.
